Kuwait keen on empowering youth

Amiri Diwan advisor Sheikh Faisal Humoud Al-Sabah said that the
political leadership is keen on empowering youth, who are considered national
wealth and the foundation for the advancement of societies. Sheikh Faisal, in a
statement marking the 3rd Gulf Youth Day, said celebrating the Gulf Youth Day
reflected the desire of the GCC leaders to invest in the potential of the youth.
Kuwait, acting upon the instructions of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal
Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah
Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, is paying great attention to the empowerment of
youth, who were “the foundation of advancement and construction of society and a
major element in development,” he said.
He called for supporting the initiatives and ideas of the youth, as well as
encouraging them to explore their potential and skills. Sheikh Faisal commended
the efforts of the youth authorities in the six Gulf Cooperation Council
countries.
